This catalogue contains a collection of publicly available numerical relativity waveforms produced using the BAM code. We provide \(\Psi_4\) data at a variety of extraction radii, as well as horizon data (masses, spins and positions), moving puncture data (positions and velocities) and radiated energy and linear momenta, also extracted at a variety of extraction radii. The calculation of these quantities by the BAM code are described in arXiv:gr-qc/0610128 and arXiv:0706.0740.

The catalogue is described in arXiv:2303.05419, which also contains a brief overview of the BAM code, the set up used to generate the waveforms and an assessment of the accuracy of our data.

Available simulations

This catalogue consists of 80 single-spin, precessing configurations at 4 different mass ratios. The spin is placed on the larger black hole, with 4 different values of the spin magnitude over 5 different orientations. The orientation of the spin is measured by the angle \(\theta_\rm{LS}\) between the spin and the Newtonian orbital angular momentum. The in-plane spin angle does not vary.
